Health and saftey

Here at Taylors Scaffolding safety is our main priority, whether it is our own employees, contractors working on our scaffolds, or the general public.  We can provide risk assessments and method statements and safety policies where requested.  All our scaffolders are CITB trained and CISRS qualified, they adhere to a strict working code of conduct and a vigorous procedure of inspection is applied to all finished scaffolds before a “hand-over” certificate is issued.  We also employ the scaff-tag safety system to ensure that our scaffolds are safe at all times.  We also re-visit vulnerable scaffolds, i.e scaffolds with monar flex & temporary roofs after extreme weather conditions to maintain the scaffold structures integrity.

At Taylors Scaffolding we have a £10 million public liability insurance policy along with a employers liability policy,  so that we can meet the highest health and safety criteria and insure the safety of the general public and our own employees.  We continue to adopt and adapt our working practices to not only meet, but to exceed the requirements of the latest legislations.  And at the same time we encourage our own workforce to obtain the highest levels of skills through our ongoing training schemes.

Each of our employees are issued with all the necessary items of personal protective equipment that they require to carry out their work safely.  PPE is rigourously checked and inspected to maintain that it is always in the highest condition.
